First steps as a landlord
Creating your workspace, the demo portfolio and verifying your identity.
Your workspace is your “office” in Rentkey: your flats, your tenants and your team all live here.
- 1Sign up and choose the I'm a landlord card.
- 2Fill in Workspace name (e.g. Kovács Homes). We build the link from the name.
- 3Choose Private landlord or Management company.
- 4Click Create.
Alongside your first workspace you get a demo: 3 flats, 3 tenants and a year of finances. You can try every feature here, and nothing leaves it: no emails, no listings.
Pajzs Pali's tour walks you through the menu. When you are done, remove it with Delete the demo in the top bar.
Until you verify, a bar at the top reminds you (Verify now). It takes about 3 minutes: an ID document and a short selfie video.
- Your listings show the Verified landlord badge.
- You can only sign with a one-time code once verified; with DÁP (Hungary's digital citizenship app) you can sign without it.
- Rentkey does not store the images or the video, only the result.
