What is Rentkey?
A tenant selection and property management system. Tenants show how verified they are with a Rentkey Passport; landlords manage the rental from lease to deposit in one place.
What is the Rentkey Passport?
The tenant's portable profile with a 0–100 score and an itemised breakdown: identity, income, rental history, financial standing, data quality. It belongs to the tenant, not the landlord.
How do I know the landlord is real?
Look for the “Verified landlord” badge: they verified themselves with an ID document and a face check. It shows in search results and on the listing.
How much does it cost?
For tenants the Passport is free; the Verified Passport is HUF 4,990 for 3 months, and the landlord can take it over or you split it. For landlords the Private plan is free up to 3 homes, Pro is HUF 790 per home per month (at least HUF 2,990), with 2 months free on yearly billing. All prices are on the Plans page.
How do we sign the lease?
Preferably with DÁP, a free qualified electronic signature. Without DÁP, a one-time code by e-mail works too, once both parties have verified their identity.
