What's new

We keep improving Rentkey

New features arrive every week, shaped by what landlords and tenants ask for. Here they all are, by date.

  1. Landlords

    Guides for connecting rental platforms

Calendar › Occupancy now has a short guide for each platform on connecting its calendar. A tenant found on a platform becomes a lease in one step with Tenant from a platform.

  2. LandlordsTenants

Pay the rent with a QR code

On the Rent tab tenants pay every open item with a QR code or copyable transfer details, then tell the landlord with I've paid. Landlords add their bank account in the finance settings.

  3. Tenants

    Lease invitations inside the app

If you already have a Rentkey account, your landlord's invitation also shows up on your Passport page and under My contracts, with an Accept button. No need to find the e-mail.

  4. Everyone

Notifications per topic: instantly or in a summary

For every topic you choose: an e-mail at once, one daily summary (7:00 or 17:00), or none. Landlords also get a weekly overview on Mondays.

  5. Everyone

Help on every page, support in Messages

The button in the bottom right corner opens Help, starting with tips for the page you are on. At its bottom, Write to us starts a conversation with our team; the answer arrives in Messages and stays there.

  6. Landlords

Actions menu on the flat and tenancy pages

The Actions menu in the header of a flat or tenancy records a payment, expense, check, repair, reminder or note in one click, already filled in. Notice and renewal of a lease start here too.

  7. Landlords

    Search on every list

Every list page has the same search field in its filter row, Applicants and the repair board included. It filters as you type.

  8. Landlords

Portal bookings in the Rentkey calendar

On Occupancy, Import takes the calendar link (iCal) of Airbnb, Booking.com or another portal. Bookings made there then show up in Rentkey too, so the whole occupancy is in one place.
