Applying for a flat

The landlord or the management company sends you the listing link (rentkey.hu/l/…). Open it to see the flat's details and, once you have submitted your Passport, how well you match it in per cent.

If you haven't submitted a Passport yet, it asks for that first, then takes you back to the listing. A person makes the decision, not an algorithm.

1. 1Open the listing and scroll to the Apply with your passport box.
2. 2Choose what the landlord can see: Summary, or Summary + contact details (your name and phone too).
3. 3You can add a message and give your move-in date, how long you'd stay and how many people would live there.
4. 4Click Send application.

You can usually book once the landlord has invited you to a viewing.

With some management companies you can book straight after applying: they show their flats on their own portfolio page (rentkey.hu/kinalat/…). If there is no free slot yet, your application becomes a viewing request, and you get an email when a new slot opens.

1. 1On the Applications page, click Book a viewing.
2. 2Pick a day and a free time slot (Book).
3. 3Use Add to calendar to put it in your own calendar. If it no longer suits you: Cancel it.
